Brown Bag Wine Tasting

So last night Jeff and I went to a Brown Bag Wine Tasting event with a lot of our friends! We had way too much fun! It is such a great idea of something to do to get your friends together for no reason...just to hang out and have a little fun...adult fun!!!
A brown bag wine tasting is where people each bring a bottle of wine (P.S. We had 14 bottles for the tasting and a few for afterward), bag it up so people don't know the type of wine or vineyard, number the bag (as pictured above), and then everybody rates each of them from 1 to 5. Everybody pays $5 or $10, etc and the person that brings the bottle that rates the highest takes all the money!
Few things to note: most people bring cheap wine, so be ready for a bad hangover; also I would go from white to red instead of mixing them all up.

Wine Tasting...Bridal Shower!!

So, last weekend I had family in town and I had the best bridal shower!!! My cousin/sister Caitlin and my brother's girlfriend, Christie, threw me the best bridal shower in Culver City at a place called Bottle Rock!!

It was really nice! The tables were all set up beautifully with wine glasses, place settings, wine bottle stoppers, flowers and photos from our engagement!!! I am so blessed that we had somebody there to take photos of our engagement!!! It was exciting to see those photos on the table when I walked in!

These are my Hostesses with the Mostesses! Hehe! They were so great to do this for me! I am so grateful and cannot wait to do this for them...when their boyfriends get off their hiney's and purpose!!! Thanks Caitlin & Christie!!! I love you guys tons!!
